15 February 2005
AM-BEO LTD., a global leader in providing software for rating, charging and revenue settlement to the communications industry, announces the release of nChargeTM 3.1. nCharge is designed for both the traditional communication and the increasingly important value-added services markets. This latest release highlights AM-BEO’s ability to provide continually evolving solutions for revenue generation from communication services.
nCharge provides a real-time convergent charging solution for network and value-added services with advanced balance management. nCharge 3.1 extends the existing functionality with further advanced rating, charging, promotional and multiple balance management capabilities required by service providers to further develop new revenue streams and make products and services more attractive to the end user. These advanced features enable charging models to be based on individual customers providing the ability to vary individual customer charges relative to their loyalty and value.
This release also provides support for loyalty and reward programs, where points can be assigned to customer accounts based on the characteristics of each usage event. These enhancements facilitate marketing initiatives such as customer-specific promotional pricing and loyalty-based reward programs, which are designed to increase customer service and satisfaction as well as reduce customer churn.
“nCharge represents a ‘Best of Breed’ convergent charging solution which will enable carriers to bridge existing systems, increase payment flexibility and decrease operational costs, while driving revenue and maintaining costs.” according to Paul Hughes, Director of Billing and Payment Application Strategies, Yankee Group, and goes on to comment “AM-BEO is well positioned at the fore-front of multi-service delivery and is a leader in the area of transaction service charging, thanks to its broad vertical market capabilities.”
