› Prime Carrier to Deliver Revenue Assurance Workshop At ‘BPM For Telecom’ Conference

Dublin, Ireland — March 21st, 2006 — Prime Carrier Ltd., a market leader in the provision of solutions for the international wholesale carrier-to-carrier and retail telecommunications markets, is to deliver a pre-conference workshop entitled "Delivering a Measurable Return for your Telecom Organisation with Revenue Assurance" at the BPM for Telecoms conference to be held in London. The conference runs from March 29th and the workshop is to be held on the 28th.

The interactive workshop will explore how best to utilize the techniques, risk and business process methodologies with supporting technology used in a revenue assurance environment in order to optimize your return on investment. Revenue assurance and cost management solutions are vital for enabling telecom carriers to launch next generation services and work with interconnect partners profitably.

This interactive workshop will consider:

  • What is revenue assurance and what are the differences in the retail and wholesale markets?
  • What is cost assurance and how does it impact your margins?
  • Leveraging existing best practices and technical capability
  • How do you evaluate the benefits for developing a revenue assurance capability?
  • Are ROI expectations realistic or too optimistic?
  • Developing new strategies, practices and deploying technology to achieve economies of scale, cost and resource savings
  • When is the best time to expand your revenue assurance capability?
  • What should you do to benefit from having revenue assurance in your organisation?
  • How do you know you have invested wisely?

The workshop will be delivered by Prime Carrier’s Director of Business Development, who has been involved in the risk management industry for nearly 20 years starting his career in the UK Inland Revenue service investigating all types of fraud from either internal or external sources. In 1988 he moved to the London Stock Exchange’s Surveillance Department where he investigated insider dealing, market manipulation and stock exchange rule breaches leading many high profile, complex investigations under criminal and civil legislation. He worked closely with Department of Trade and Industry and had regular liaison with the Serious Fraud Office and regulatory authorities both in the UK and internationally.
